Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video with speaker labels and timestamps
- Normalize numbers, acronyms, and punctuation to style guide
- Research uncommon terms/names for correct spelling
- Flag inaudible sections and request better source audio when needed
- Meet project turnaround times and accuracy thresholds (≥ 98%)
- Perform light editing and paragraphing for readability
- Deliver files in required formats and templates
Requirements
- No experience needed; prior transcription a plus
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and listening comprehension
- Typing speed 60+ WPM with high accuracy
- Familiarity with tools (Express Scribe/Otter/Descript) a plus
- Ability to handle multiple accents and technical vocabulary
- Strong attention to detail and consistency with style guides
- Quiet workspace and quality headset
